June 23-24 in Minden, Nevada!

If you have ever wanted to contribute to your community by becoming a Connected Horse Facilitator for the Connected Horse Program held in various barns, please consider registering for our training academy. We will cover what it takes to become a successful Connected Horse Facilitator including: what is facilitation and how to help the people we serve, different elements of the program, the purpose that each activity in the program serves and hands-on practice of these activities. Registration includes access to our online training course and a spot in the training academy. It does NOT include accommodations or travel expenses. 

$400 includes full attendance at the workshop both days, access to online training modules and a Connected Horse workbook

$600 includes full attendance at the workshop, access to online training modules, a Connected Horse workbook and PATH CEUs (16 CEUs total – 10 DEs and 6 CRs for ESMHL)

Requirements to Attend the Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy:

  • Completing and signing the Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk Form
  • You must attend both days
  • You should have completed the online Connected Horse Facilitator Training Course (access provided at completion of registration for Connected Horse Training Academy)
  • You should be committed to exploring the Connected Horse Program
  • An attestation of compliance and a liability waiver must be signed at the time of registration
  • $400 registration fee (may be refunded if training academy is cancelled)
  • $200 additional fee if you would like to acquire PATH Continuing Education Units (CEUs) 

Connected Horse will be following the most current CDC guidelines which are subject to change at any time and PATH safety recommendations. Connected Horse reserves the right to cancel this training academy at any time.

 

 

 

    Attestation of Compliance

    Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk

    Connected Horse takes all our attendees’ health and safety seriously. Accordingly, we will require every attendee to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test the day the training academy starts. If you are fully vaccinated, please provide your proof of vaccination documents. If you require any special accommodations, please contact us at info@connectedhorse.org to discuss your situation.

    Registration also requires acknowledgement of risk associated with gatherings, and agreement to the vaccine requirement as well as following onsite safety protocols to include: adhering to spacing, food and beverage, and mask protocols, and all other safeguards put in place.

    We are working in close partnership with Kids & Horses to best align with the latest CDC and State of Nevada guidelines for COVID-19 safety. To that end, circumstances may require us to revise our safety protocols as needed.

    ATTENDEE LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
    Attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the Connected Horse Facilitator Training. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless Connected Horse, its employees, agents, directors, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

    Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Connected Horse Facilitator Training may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Connected Horse, its employees, agents, directors and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy.

    In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at the Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy venues, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all Connected Horse Facilitator Training Academy attendees.
